Wally Filipenko

Wally Filipenko is an experienced Power Engineer with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a 2nd Class Power Engineer at MEG Energy Corp since November 2011, Wally also holds the role of Permit WinStets Coordinator. Prior to this, Wally worked at Nexen from April 2000 to November 2011 as a Lead Operator and began professional experience at TransCanada from July 1998 to April 2000 as an Operator. Wally holds a degree in Power Engineering Technologist with a focus on Boilers and Power Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, obtained between 1996 and 1998.
