Summer Xia

Summer Xia has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Journalist Intern at CNTV and ChinaTimes hua'xia'shi'bao. In 2012, they became a Business Analyst at The Pipilu Company, where they launched a community website and analyzed user data to improve offline brand activities. From 2015 to 2016, Summer worked as a Product Analyst at PPzuche.com, where they collaborated with the product manager to design products, developed user growth strategies, and conducted market analysis. In 2016, they joined JD.COM as a Technical Product Owner, taking responsibility for the data and content chapters of an agile tool and designing a customer success platform. Their role involved analyzing user data and providing solutions to enhance user experience. Most recently, starting in 2021, Summer has been with MEGA The Privacy Company. Initially hired as a Product Manager and later promoted to Senior Product Manager, they currently hold the position and is involved in product management activities.

Summer Xia is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Management at The University of Auckland, starting in 2021. Previously, in 2020, they completed a Graduate Diploma in Information Science at Massey University. Before their tertiary education, Summer's educational background included studying Transportation at Changsha University of Science and Technology, although the specific degree obtained is unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Summer has obtained several certifications. In March 2021, they received the "Scrum: Advanced" certification from LinkedIn. In February 2021, they obtained a certification in "Interpersonal Communication" from the same platform. Additionally, back in June 2010, Summer achieved "The National Psychological Consultant (Level-3)" certification, which was awarded by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China.
