James Levine

Head of Product at Megagon Labs

James Levine has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Their most recent position was as the Head of Product at Megagon Labs, a company focused on AI and NLP research. In this role, they were responsible for productization and technology transfer, as well as establishing relationships within the company. Prior to this, they worked as the Principal at The CxO Lab and CTO & Product Coach/Advisor at Recruit Technologies Ltd, where they restructured teams and advised on organizational growth. James Levine attended several educational institutions throughout their academic career. In 1984, they began their studies at California State University, Northridge, where they completed their general education requirements before transferring to Pitzer College in 1985. At Pitzer College, they pursued a hybrid degree in Computer Science and Human/Social Factors and successfully graduated with a B.A. in 1987. Concurrently, they also took Management & MIS courses at Claremont Graduate University.

In 2001, James enrolled at De Anza College and took various courses for personal enrichment purposes, including subjects like math, arts, philosophy, and physical fitness. Later, in 2007, they attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they focused on Graduate Computer Science courses to enhance their skills and knowledge. The specific areas they studied during this period included Data Science, Distributed Systems, advanced Algorithms, among others. It should be noted that they did not obtain a degree during their time at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
