Takuya Makino

Takuya Makino has work experience as a Research Scientist at Megagon Labs starting from January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Fujitsu as a Researcher from April 2012 to December 2021. At Fujitsu, they served as the team leader of the NLP group, managing the progress and providing feedback to team members on their draft papers. Additionally, they developed a neural-based summarization engine using PyTorch. One of their accomplishments includes having a group member's paper accepted by an international conference.

Takuya Makino has a comprehensive education history that includes various degrees and fields of study. From 2017 to 2020, they attended the Tokyo Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Doctor of Engineering degree in the field of Information Technology. Prior to this, from 2010 to 2012, Takuya pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. During this period, their focus was on Natural Language Processing. In the earlier years of their education, from 2006 to 2010, Takuya attended Doshisha University, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in the field of Electronic Engineering.
