Colin Moock has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1995 when they were the Webmaster for Softquad Software. In 1997, they moved to ICE Integrated Communications and Entertainment as a Web Evangelist, where they created high-profile Canadian brand websites and marketing campaigns. In 2001, they became an Author for O'Reilly Media. In 2008, they became an ActionScript Language Evangelist for Adobe, and also Co-Founded USER1 Subsystems Corporation and became Chief Product Officer for Megaphone TV. At USER1, they invented and maintained the Union Platform, a client-server collaboration framework. At Megaphone TV, they were responsible for bringing the vision of interactive television to millions of home viewers, overseeing all aspects of product invention and development, and developing client/server realtime services in the Emmy-winning interactive-television software platform.
Colin Moock received a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Computer-Mediated Communications and English Literature from the University of Waterloo, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature, General from the same university.
