Darby Orr is an experienced music analyst and composer with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Music Analyst-Metadata Specialist at Megatrax since December 2014, Darby analyzes global music to define its traits and ensures quality control of musical files. As a Composer/Sound Designer at Surface and Dream Music since 2007, Darby contributes to music production. Previous roles include leading composer and producer at Media on Demand Music & BangMod Productions, where music was crafted for various media, and independent work with Surface and Dream Studios, producing for diverse indie artists. Darby also has experience as a sound designer for Universal Studios, a staff songwriter for Sony Music Publishing, and a composer for Chuck E. Cheese. Darby holds a BS in Finance, Magna Cum Laude, from Stephen F. Austin State University.
