Kostis Mamassis

Kostis Mamassis has had a varied career in the fields of telecommunications engineering, lecturing, and business. In 2001, they began working as a Telecommunications Engineer for Siemens ICS, where they drove out to mountain peaks to verify the correct installation and operation of high capacity microwave antennas and associated hardware. In 2003, they began working as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of the Aegean, where they prepared the structure and requirements of the MatLab course and lectured for a full semester. In 2004, they co-founded Diveshop.gr and served as its CEO. In 2008, they became the CEO of Megaventory Inc. and in 2011 and 2014, they returned to the University of the Aegean as an Adjunct Lecturer, this time teaching the MatLab and Python programming languages. In 2016, they returned to the University of the Aegean as an Adjunct Lecturer, teaching the MatLab and Python programming languages.

Kostis Mamassis obtained their Ph.D. in Operations Research - Combinatorial Optimization from the University of the Aegean in 2009. Kostis also holds an MSc in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Essex which they obtained in 2000. Kostis'sundergraduate degree is a 2.1 (honours) in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Essex which they obtained in 1999.
