Matthew Offredi

Matthew Offredi is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in embedded software and systems engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Embedded Software and Lead Firmware Architect at Megger since March 2023, Offredi previously dedicated over two decades to BAE Systems, where roles included Lead System Engineer, prototype developer, and principal hardware engineer. Offredi has been recognized for technical leadership in safety control systems, hardware development for digital helmet-mounted displays, and contributions to EU development programs. Additionally, Offredi actively participates in professional forums, including presenting at the MATLAB Expo, and has coordinated innovative projects such as the Christmas Challenge, which focuses on using low-cost embedded platforms for creative engineering solutions. Offredi holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Systems from the University of Kent and multiple qualifications in electrical and electronics engineering.
