Jonathan Cowin

Jonathan Cowin possesses extensive experience in agricultural sales and finance, currently serving as a salesman at Meherrin Agricultural and Chemical Company since January 2023. A longstanding involvement with Cowin Farms began in July 2002, complementing roles in financial institutions that include Vice President and Business Banker for Agriculture at First Citizens Bank from October 2018 to October 2022, and Loan Officer at AgCarolina Farm Credit from October 2011 to September 2018. Prior to those positions, Jonathan held roles in emergency medical services as a firefighter/EMT with the Town of Williamston and as an EMT with Roanoke Medical Transport. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Extension from North Carolina State University, obtained in 2008, and completed training at the Southeastern Ag Lender's School at Clemson University in 2016.
