Alexander Seitz

Alexander Seitz is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in technology and innovation. Currently serving as Group Director Technology & Innovation at Mehler Systems since January 2025, Alexander focuses on engineering excellence and R&D for ballistic body armour and platform protection solutions for international law enforcement and tactical units. Prior to this role, Alexander held various positions at Rheinmetall from November 2018 to December 2024, including Director Core Engineering Tracked Vehicles and Head of Core Engineering Turrets. Previously, at Nordex Group from November 2015 to October 2018, Alexander was responsible for standards, documentation, and quality processes, while also developing PDM/ERP engineering interfaces. Earlier experience includes leading aerospace development teams at Bertrandt Ingenieurbüro GmbH Hamburg and serving as Interface Manager at Airbus, with a focus on electrical systems and structure management for significant aircraft models. Alexander holds a degree in Industrial Product Design from Coventry University.
