Donald Sanderson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Donald began their career at Honda of America Mfg., Inc. in 1997, serving as a New Model Buyer until 2000. In 2000, they joined Ford Motor Company as a Category Buyer, a role they held until 2003. Sanderson then transitioned to Target, where they took on various positions, such as Negotiation Leader in Hardlines and Buyer in Grocery. Donald eventually became a Senior Buyer in Hardlines Paper & Plastics and Group Manager Merchandise Presentation in Hardlines, Heathcare & Beauty. In 2011, Sanderson joined Meijer and held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Merchandise Presentation and Pricing, Vice President of Grocery Merchandising, and Group Vice President of Fresh Merchandising. Currently, they serve as Chief Merchandising and Marketing Officer at Meijer.
Donald Sanderson completed their Bachelor of Arts in Marketing at Michigan State University from 1993 to 1997. Donald then pursued a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing and Operations Management at the University of Notre Dame from 2003 to 2004.
