Thempson Muzvagwandoga has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Thempson started their career at Deloitte & Touché Chartered Accountants as a Senior Auditor, where they were responsible for risk assessment, forensic investigation, and financial reporting. Thempson also managed budgets, timelines, and performance plans, and provided training and coaching to audit assistants. Thempson then joined Meikles Hospitality as the Financial Controller, overseeing the financial statements, budgeting, financial governance, and banking negotiation for three hotels. Later, they were promoted to Finance Director, where they advised executive management on financial planning and strategy, prepared quarterly reports for the Board of Directors, and ensured compliance with IFRS regulations.
Thempson Muzvagwandoga completed a Master of Business Leadership degree in Finance and Business Strategy from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, attending from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Post-Graduate degree in Applied Accountancy from the University of Zimbabwe, completing their studies in 1996. Thempson's education journey began with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Zimbabwe, where they studied from 1991 to 1993. In addition to their degrees, Thempson Muzvagwandoga also obtained a Chartered Accountant certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Zimbabwe in June 2000.
