Chenjin Jin

Chenjin Jin is a Research Associate at MeiraGTx, focusing on the study of tissue-specific promoter strength and activity for genetic disease applications, along with developing novel transcription factor binding sites shuffling assays and an RNA-seq based AAV-barcode screen database. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where research involved the functional role of the 8q24 chromosomal locus using CRISPR interference and generating stable cell lines. Chenjin Jin also worked as a Technical Sales Representative at Ruiyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd., establishing industry connections, and held roles as a Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Student Researcher at Penn State University. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Penn State University.
