Elke Vansnick

Elke Vansnick has a diverse work experience in the field of data management and clinical research. Elke is currently working as the Director of Clinical Data Management at MeiraGTx since 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Data Management at Ablynx from September 2018 to January 2022, and also served as the Data Management Lead from February 2017 to August 2018.

Before joining Ablynx, Elke worked at SGS Life Science Services as the Head of Secure Data Office and Pharmacokinetics from November 2010 to January 2017. Elke also worked at Tibotec as a Senior Manager of Data Management from April 2006 to November 2010. Elke'searly work experience includes serving as a Clinical Data Manager for Health Care projects outsourced to J&J PRD from October 2004 to April 2006.

Elke started their career in the field of research, working as a Research Associate (Doctoral Research) at Ghent University from September 2000 to August 2004. Overall, they have a strong background in data management and has held various leadership roles in the industry.

Elke Vansnick obtained a PhD in Pharmaceutical Microbiology from Ghent University between the years 2000 and 2004. Prior to that, from 1996 to 2000, they completed their Masters in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Antwerp.
