Sonia Kurek

Sonia Kurek is a highly experienced QC Analytical Specialist at MeiraGTx since October 2022, with a strong background in biochemistry gained through previous roles at Lonza from May 2019 to October 2022, where Sonia served as QC Biochemistry Senior Scientist and contributed to customer-specific methods and communications. Prior positions include QC Biochemistry Scientist and QC Biochemistry Technologist, focusing on various analytical methods and quality records in a GMP environment. Sonia began a career in quality assurance as a Quality Assistant at ITH Pharma and previously worked as a Biological Laboratory Technician at Alec Reed Academy. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Galway and a diploma in Biology from St. Angela's College, along with a Leaving Certificate from St. Columbas College.
