Karen Gerome

Group Business Director - US Horticulture at Meister Media Worldwide

Karen Gerome has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting from 2001, they worked as a Client Services Coordinator for the Cleveland Force Professional Soccer Team, where they scheduled player appearances, coordinated community donations, and created promotional materials. Karen then transitioned to the Force Fitness Indoor Soccer Facility as an Assistant Manager, where they recruited teams for sports league play and expanded the facility's offerings.

In 2003, Karen became an Independent Consultant for PartyLite Gifts Ltd., conducting events to recruit sales representatives and sell products. Karen also worked as a Sales & Club Manager for ShapeXpress for Women Fitness Facility, where they marketed and sold club memberships, organized promotions and events, and maintained sales reports.

From 2004 to 2007, Karen worked as an Event & Entertainment Coordinator for Jerry Bruno Productions, introducing musical entertainment for events and marketing the company's services. Karen then moved on to Advanstar Communications as a Marketing Advisor, specializing in business-to-business publishing sales and marketing for the healthcare industry. Karen designed and sold direct-marketing campaigns and executed social media campaigns, resulting in revenue growth.

Starting in 2015, Karen became a Senior Brand Manager for Grand View Media, overseeing and growing Turf & Ornamental Brands. Karen developed and implemented new product ideas, managed a sales team, and achieved significant revenue growth. In 2018, they joined Group C Media as a Senior Brand Manager, focusing on brand revenue goals, development, and strategy.

Currently, Karen holds the position of Group Business Director - US Horticulture at Meister Media Worldwide, where they lead the horticulture business division. Karen previously served as the Publisher for the AgriBusiness Group at Meister Media Worldwide.

Karen Gerome completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Business & Sports Management from Marietta College between 1996 and 2000.
