Liis Monson

Liis Monson has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Liis is currently working at Meister as a Senior II Product Manager since July 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Product Manager at Meister from April 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Meister, Liis worked at KAYAK where they held several positions. Liis served as the Director of Flight Data and Quality from January 2019 to September 2019. In this role, they played a key role in creating and leading the Flight Data & Quality department, driving product features and flight-related data systems.

Prior to their director role, Liis worked as a Senior Manager of Flight Data, Commercial Partnerships from July 2017 to December 2018, and as a Data Manager of Flight Data, Commercial Partnerships from January 2016 to June 2017. Liis also worked as a Static Data Specialist in the Hotel and Geo Data Engineering Team from February 2014 to December 2015.

Liis has additional work experience at ResearchGate as a Scientific Content Administrator from September 2013 to January 2014, and at The Pure Package as a Product Manager & Consultant from August 2013 to January 2014. Liis previously worked at The Pure Package as an Executive Assistant to Operations Manager from January 2010 to November 2012 and as a Customer Service Agent/ Nutritionist from April 2008 to December 2009.

Liis Monson began their education in 2001 at the University of Tartu, where they studied Genetics until 2006. After that, they attended Future Fit Training from 2006 to 2007, obtaining an NVQ1 degree in Nutrition & Weight Management. In addition to their formal education, Liis Monson has also obtained several certifications, including the Human-Computer Interaction Design Specialization from UC San Diego Extension in March 2021, the Professional Scrum Product Owner I certification from Scrum.org in January 2021, the IBM Data Science Professional Certificate from Coursera Certified Courses in September 2020, the Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI certification from Coursera in August 2020, and the Executive Data Science Specialization from Coursera Course Certificates in May 2016.
