Huaxia Xia

Huaxia Xia is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in computer science and software engineering. Currently serving as VP and Chief Scientist at Meituan since June 2013, Huaxia has held various roles including Scientist and GM of the Autonomous Delivery Department, as well as Principal Architect. Prior to Meituan, Huaxia worked at Baidu, Inc. as a Principal Architect from November 2011 to June 2013, and at Google from 2006 to November 2011 as a Senior Software Engineer. Huaxia's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC San Diego, obtained between 2000 and 2006, and a BS in Computer Science from Tsinghua University, completed in 2000.
