Michael Zhu

Michael Zhu serves as Corporate Vice President at Meituan since 2018, focusing on developing advanced technology to enhance the leading LBS e-commerce business. Previously, Michael held the position of Head of Software Engineering at Amazon Web Services from 2015 to 2018, where responsibilities included leading product development in AI, Deep Learning, and Cloud technologies. Prior to that, Michael was the Head of Cloud Engineering at Intel Corporation, overseeing Big Data platform development. A decade of experience at Broadcom involved significant contributions as Technical Director in IoT, mobile product, and networking solutions. Earlier in Michael's career, roles included Senior Software Engineer at Qualcomm and Member of Technical Staff at Synopsys Inc. Michael holds an MBA certificate from Stanford University and a BS in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Peking University, along with a Master's degree from Washington State University.
