Yifan Tang

Yifan Tang is an experienced Autonomous Driving Software Engineer at Meituan since January 2021. Prior to this role, Yifan worked as a Research Assistant at Cornell University from September 2018 to December 2020, contributing to the Shadow Sense Project. Previous experience includes positions as a Robotics Software Engineer at Qihoo 360, where Yifan developed decision-making algorithms for robotic vacuum cleaners, and at Dorabot, focusing on point cloud processing using Realsense cameras. Yifan also served as a Research Assistant at Beihang University, conducting aerodynamic analysis and wind tunnel experiments, contributing to a co-authored journal paper. Yifan holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Energy and Power Engineering from Beihang University, along with an exchange program experience at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
