Brendan Rakphongphairoj

Brendan Rakphongphairoj has a diverse and extensive work experience. Brendan is currently serving as the Chief Innovation Officer at Mekari since January 2023. Brendan is also the CEO of Qontak.com, leading the company under the Mekari group since May 2021, where they have successfully developed the largest SaaS ecosystem in Indonesia. Additionally, they have held the role of SVP Growth at Mekari from March 2022 to March 2023. In 2022, Brendan played a crucial role as the Head of Mekari e-Sign, where they built and launched the end-to-end digital signature and contract lifecycle management solution. Brendan founded and served as the CEO of Qontak.com Technology Solutions, an Omnichannel CRM technology firm focused on the Indonesian and Southeast Asia market, since May 2016. Prior to that, Brendan worked as a Director at PT. Namu Tumbuh Makmur, an innovative food importer and manufacturer, and as a Senior Consulting Associate at Cambridge Associates, a global investment consulting firm. Brendan also had a role as a Columnist at The Jakarta Globe, a leading English language newspaper in Indonesia.

Brendan Rakphongphairoj obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from Occidental College in the period between 2005 and 2009. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2011, Brendan pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, specializing in Economics, at Columbia University. Additionally, Brendan holds a certification in scuba diving from Scuba Schools International.
