Mikael Fors

Mikael Fors has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Mikael started their career as a Founder at Skynode AB, where they worked on a startup project developing a location-based recruitment tool. Mikael then worked as an Assistant and later as a Lecturer at Uppsala University, teaching technical courses and supervising students for their undergraduate theses. After that, Mikael joined Siemens A/S Turbomachinery Solutions as a Consultant for a capstone project in organizational change and talent management. Mikael then transitioned to roles at SVT and Netlight, where they served as a Scrum Master, Senior Full Stack Engineer, and Consultant, working with web development teams and implementing technological changes. Mikael further enhanced their skills and experience at Thomas Cook Northern Europe, where they held the positions of Architect, Sprint Leader, and Team Lead. Mikael was responsible for architectural decisions and increased revenue streams through a revision of ancillary sales. Most recently, Mikael worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Data Scientist and Senior Machine Learning Engineer. Mikael combined management, data science, and engineering to drive impact for clients and led cross-functional teams for advanced analytics solutions. Currently, Mikael holds the position of Head of Analytics and Mobility Solutions at MEKO.

Mikael Fors has a diverse education history. Mikael obtained an MSc in General Management from the Stockholm School of Economics from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, they pursued Mathematics at Uppsala University, where they achieved both an MSc and BSc from 2010 to 2014. Furthermore, they pursued Computer Science and Information Systems at Uppsala University, obtaining BSc degrees in both fields from 2010 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Mikael obtained a certification as a Professional Scrum Product Owner from Scrum.org in the year 2019.
