Matthew Stone

Matthew Stone has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Matthew currently holds the position of Lead Pastor at Faith Baptist Church since February 2023. Prior to this role, they served as an Interim Pastor at the same church from June 2022 to February 2023. Earlier, Matthew worked as the Director of Information Technology at Mel Trotter Ministries from September 2019. Before that, they were an Information Technology Support Specialist at the City of Rome Georgia from March 2013 to September 2019. Matthew also gained valuable experience as a Team Member at Chick-fil-A Restaurants from June 2010 to January 2014. Furthermore, Matthew has contributed to the education sector, serving as a Coach, Substitute Teacher, and Development Assistant at Unity Christian School from October 2007 to November 2009. Lastly, they served as a Personnel Clerk and Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from April 2003 to October 2007.

Matthew Stone attended Georgia Highlands College from 2007 to 2009, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Education. Matthew then continued their education at Shorter University from 2010 to 2012 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Education. Additionally, they enrolled in Georgia Northwestern Technical College from 2011 to 2013 and obtained an Associate of Science degree in Computer Support Specialist.
