Riccardo Chiarelli

Riccardo Chiarelli has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Riccardo is the Founder & Head of Product at Mela Works, a software company that provides an app for field workers to document jobs, organize information, and generate reports. Prior to this, Riccardo worked independently as a Consultant, guest speaker, and lecturer on nuclear safety and oversight, delivering courses and speeches at various conferences and universities. Riccardo also worked as a Programme Manager at WANO (World Association of Nuclear Operators), where they led a team of engineers and played an active role in the London office. Additionally, Riccardo served as the Organizational Effectiveness Manager at ANAV (Asociación Nuclear Ascó-Vandellós), implementing new processes for efficient operations. Riccardo worked as a Team Leader at the World Association of Nuclear Operators, coordinating and leading international missions to review operational performance. Riccardo also worked as a Safety Manager at IAEA, deputy team leader of international missions representing the United Nations. Furthermore, they worked as an International Business Development Specialist at Enel, handling business plans and investment analysis. Lastly, Riccardo was a Performance Engineer at Sogin, leading an improvement program for radiation protection.

Riccardo Chiarelli has an extensive education history. In 1998, they attended Politecnico di Torino and obtained a Master of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering, with a specialization in the field of Nuclear. After completing their degree, they pursued further education and in 2000, they enrolled at CentraleSupélec, where they earned another Master of Science degree in Engineering. Later in 2007, Riccardo pursued a qualification in Radiation Protection. Riccardo obtained the designation of "Qualified expert in radiation protection" from the Italian Ministry of Work.
