Nasser Fredj

Chief Science Officer at Melaleuca

Nasser Fredj has extensive work experience in the field of research and development and quality assurance. Nasser started their career at Procter & Gamble in 1996 as a Section Head, where they held multiple responsibilities in product formulation design and process development. During their time at Procter & Gamble, Fredj led the development of several new products in North America and Europe. Nasser implemented new formulation and manufacturing strategies for liquid detergents. Additionally, they held roles as Associate Director in various departments, including Fabric Care and PetCare. In 2013, Fredj joined Melaleuca: The Wellness Company as the Vice President of Research and Development and Quality Assurance, and later became the Chief Science Officer in 2018.

Nasser Fredj completed their education in Chemical Engineering. Nasser earned a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Akron in 1985. Nasser then pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Colloid & Surface Science at The University of Akron from 1985 to 1987. Nasser further pursued their education at Carnegie Mellon University, where they obtained a PhD in Chemical Engineering from 1987 to 1991.
