Alison Hocking serves as the Manager of Allied Health Service Development and Manager of Social Work & Diversity at The Royal Melbourne Hospital since September 2016. Prior to this role, Alison held the position of President at Oncology Social Work Australia New Zealand Inc. from 2013 to 2016 and spent over a decade at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, where responsibilities included Chief Social Worker, Director of Allied Health, and Senior Social Worker. Earlier experience includes working as a Case Manager at Surrey County Council from 2002 to 2003. Alison earned a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of South Australia and a Masters of Advanced Social Work from the University of Melbourne, where studies continue as a PhD scholar in Social Work since May 2023.
