George Cozaris

George is an experienced executive responsible for strategic leadership and transformational information technology change programs within health and government.

Before joining the RMH, George was the Chief Information Officer at Austin Health, Alfred Health and CSIRO.

George established the Digital Innovation service in March 2023 a shared collaboration initiative for the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Women’s. A single cohesive, dynamic, success-oriented service with improved digital capability delivering on becoming a Digital Health Service.

George is passionate to deliver on new digital advancements, efficiencies and explore opportunities around collaboration and consolidation of digital platforms.

George was chair of the Victorian Health Chief Information Officers Committee, 2016 to 2020 and is on the ICT Committees for Health Share Victoria and Melbourne Genomics.
