Jack Richards

Jack Richards is a medical professional with extensive experience in infectious diseases and public health. As the Co-Founder and Scientific Director at ZiP Diagnostics Pty Ltd since August 2019, Jack has been instrumental in advancing diagnostic methodologies. Concurrently, Jack serves as an Infectious Diseases Physician at The Royal Melbourne Hospital & NorthWestern Mental Health, a position held since 2006. Previously, Jack led a laboratory at the Burnet Institute for Medical Research and Public Health from March 2011 to May 2022. Jack's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Melbourne, a Master of Public Health from Monash University, a PhD from the University of Melbourne, a Diploma of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from the University of Liverpool, and fellowship status with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Infectious Diseases.
