Simon Burrell

Simon Burrell currently serves as the Director at Buangor Pastoral since September 2018. Burrell has extensive experience in healthcare technology, holding the position of Data Architect at The Royal Melbourne Hospital since 2002, overseeing the National Centre for Antimicrobial Stewardship and managing the VICNISS healthcare-associated infection surveillance team, responsible for technology vision and governance. Burrell also acted as Program Manager for the COVID-19 Response at the Victorian Department of Health in 2021 and provided consultancy for the RHDAustralia data collection system at Menzies School of Health Research in 2016. Prior roles include Systems Support at the Royal Blind Society and Technical Support & Sales at Siemens.
