Catherine Ainsworth

Catherine Ainsworth serves as Chair of the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority and is a member of the Victorian Biosecurity Reference Group with Agriculture Victoria. With extensive experience in the equine and agricultural sectors, Catherine holds director positions at Harness Racing Victoria, Melbourne Royal®, and Racing Analytical Services Ltd, while also contributing to various committees, including the NATA Animal Health Accreditation Advisory Committee and the Victorian Government Animal Welfare Advisory Committee. Previous roles include CEO of Pony Club Australia and a director at the Australian Meat Processor Corporation. Catherine's educational background includes an MBA, Master of Veterinary Science, and a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with honors.
