Maxwell Jones

Maxwell Jones has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Maxwell started their career as a STEM Education Program Assistant at the National Youth Science Forum in 2015. Maxwell later worked at Gryphon Psychology as an Admin and Design Assistant from 2017 to 2018. In 2019, Maxwell joined Engineers Without Borders Australia as the Vice President of the University of Melbourne Chapter, where they were responsible for fostering collaboration among various university clubs and organizing the 2021 Innovation Challenge. Maxwell also served as the School Outreach Manager during this time, developing online workshops and managing the outreach subcommittee. Maxwell then joined ARES - Aerospace & Rocket Engineering Society in 2021 as a Software Engineer and later became the Flight Simulations Team Lead. Maxwell also worked as a Mechatronics Engineer at the Melbourne Space Program, where they focused on attitude determination and control systems for a CubeSat. Maxwell's most recent role was as a Student Guide at QinetiQ Australia's Telstra Creator Space. In 2023, they joined the Product Design Lab as an Associate Design Engineer.

Maxwell Jones completed their Master of Engineering in Mechatronics at the University of Melbourne from 2022 to 2024. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronic Systems from the same university between 2019 and 2021. In 2015 and 2016, Maxwell attended The Australian National University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Sciences. Maxwell completed their high school education at Whitsunday Anglican School from 2001 to 2014.
