Jose Miguel Moreno has a diverse work experience in the hotel and hospitality industry. Jose Miguel started their career as the Director of Sales for Meetings & Events at Meliá Hotels International from 2010 to 2012. Jose Miguel then served as the Global Sales Director, focusing on MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and Business Travel, from 2012 to 2013. Jose also worked as the Senior Sales Director for Spain and Global Business Travel and MICE Director from 2013 to 2016, followed by the role of Vice President for Global B2B Sales & Marketing from 2016 to 2021. Most recently, they have taken on the position of Vice President Corporate & MICE Sales Strategy in charge of Worldwide Sales Offices at Meliá Hotels International. Prior to their time at Meliá, Jose held management positions such as Director Comercial at Hotel Rey Juan Carlos I & Palacio de Congresos de Cataluña, Director Regional Ventas Cataluña y Aragon at Meliá Hotels International, Director Comercial y Marketing at CCIB, and Director de Ventas at Hilton Barcelona.

Jose Miguel Moreno received a Master's degree in Hotel Management, specializing in Hospitality, from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona in 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a Technical degree in Tourism Companies and Activities from CETA between 1989 and 1992.
