Paula Forero Sepúlveda

Paula Forero Sepúlveda has extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Paula currently works as the Director of Operations for Meliá Hotels International in Paris. Prior to this role, they served as the General Manager of Melia Paris La Defense. In their previous positions at Meliá Hotels International, they held various management roles, including Hotel Manager, Resident Manager, Red Level Director, Rooms Division Manager, and Front Desk Manager. Before joining Meliá Hotels International, they worked as the Front Desk Manager at Hotel Miramar Barcelona 5*GL Husa. Paula started their career at Sol Melia as the Front Desk Manager Assistant and Front Desk Agent at Hotel ME Barcelona. Paula also gained experience as a Conference Manager at Prestige Hotels.

Paula Forero Sepúlveda has a diverse education history in the field of hospitality administration and management. Paula obtained a Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Hotel Administration from Universidad Externado de Colombia in 2007. In 2004, they pursued a certificate program in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Vatel France.

Paula continued to expand their knowledge and skills by completing various certificate programs. Paula enrolled in a program at Florida International University in 2007, which focused on the fundamentals of management in the hospitality industry. In 2009, they attended ESHTSI - ESADE, where they gained expertise in tools for quality and improvement in hotel management.

Paula further enhanced their qualifications by obtaining a Coaching Certificate from The Coaching Academy in 2010, specializing in organizational leadership. Paula then pursued another certificate program in Hospitality Management from Cornell University in 2015, followed by a certificate program in Hotel Revenue Management in 2018.

Most recently, in 2021, Paula attended HEC Paris to earn an Executive Certificate in Strategy and Management. Through their educational background, Paula has developed a strong foundation in the hospitality industry, with expertise in hotel administration, management, revenue management, and strategy.
