Pep Covas

Pep Covas is an experienced professional in the hospitality industry, currently serving as the Assistant Chief Operating Officer at Meliá Hotels International since June 2008. In this role, Pep supports the COO by overseeing business performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and managing cross-functional projects aimed at profitability and margin optimization. With a solid background in finance, Pep has held multiple positions within the company, including Head of Finance Central Europe, Director of Administration for Germany, Austria, and Luxembourg, and Internal Audit Manager. Prior experience includes roles at Eddie Rockets and Hipersol Mallorca S.L., where Pep developed skills in operational support and accounting.
