Aaron M. Schaller

Aaron M. Schaller is the current CTO and co-founder of MeliBio. Aaron was previously a Ph.D. candidate and graduate student researcher at UC Berkeley from August 2014 to December 2019. Prior to that, they were a research technician II at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center from August 2012 to August 2014, where they worked on a project observing the host-virus evolutionary arms race dynamics using yeast. Aaron has also done undergraduate research on electrophysiology at Western Washington University from January 2008 to December 2010, where they looked into the effect of divalent cations on endogenous current activity in Xenopus oocytes.

Aaron M. Schaller received a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology/Biochemistry from Western Washington University. Aaron then went on to receive a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
