David began their career in 1982 as a Technical Manager at AT&T Bell Laboratories, where they managed a team responsible for designing and building hardware and software solutions in various areas. David then joined Lucent Technologies in 1996 as a Senior Manager, leading a team of senior architects and developing strategies for enterprise infrastructure. In 2001, they founded their own company, Smull World Technologies, and served as the Founder until 2009. David then worked at SHI as a Senior Technical Director in Cloud Solutions from 2009 to 2014.
