Andres Rustan

Andres Rustan has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Student Research Assistant and Technical Support at Portland State University, where they conducted software simulation research and was responsible for web maintenance. From 2000 to 2002, they worked as a Networks and Systems Management Engineer at Pacific Northwest Networks, providing consulting and engineering services for HP OpenView products. Andres then joined PacifiCorp as an Enterprise Management Specialist, where they served as the Network and Systems Monitoring Architect and Principal Engineer. In 2008, they joined Pepperweed Consulting as a Senior Technical Support Engineer, providing support for HP Software applications and creating custom solutions. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at Avnet Services as a Senior Support Center Engineer, participating in the integration of support departments and improving support processes. Most recently, they worked at TD SYNNEX as a Sr. Manager Software Support and Software Development Services, overseeing a team of consultants and support engineers and managing the daily operations and financials of the department. In 2022, they joined Melillo Consulting as the Director of Customer Service and Support.

Andres Rustan has a strong educational background in the field of engineering. Andres obtained a Masters of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Portland State University, where they studied from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, earning a degree in Electrical Engineering from 1990 to 1996.

In addition to their formal education, Andres Rustan has pursued various certifications to enhance their knowledge and expertise. Andres obtained the Cradlepoint Certified Network Associate and Cradlepoint Certified Sales Associate certifications from Cradlepoint in April 2022. Furthermore, they achieved the NSE 3 Network Security Associate certification from Fortinet in October 2021. In December 2016, Andres earned the Riverbed Certified Solutions Professional (RCSP) - HCB certification and the Riverbed Certified Solutions Associate (RCSA) - HCB certification from Riverbed Technology. Lastly, they obtained the HP ExpertONE - Webinspect (HP0-M25) certification from HP in February 2010.
