Don Scobell

Don Scobell has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Don started their career as a Pre-Professional at IBM in 1979. Don then moved on to work as a Systems Engineer at Singer Link Flight Simulation from 1980 to 1984. Don worked as a Solutions Architect at Gould Computer Systems from 1984 to 1987. Following this, they worked as a Regional Sales Manager at Procase from 1987 to 1995. From 1995 to 1997, they held the position of Regional Sales Manager at Software Emancipation Technology, Inc. and also worked as a Solution Architect at Hewlett-Packard. Currently, they serve as the Director of Business Development at Melillo Consulting.

Don Scobell attended Syracuse University from 1976 to 1980, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering. Don then continued their education at Syracuse University from 1980 to 1984, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Don Scobell has obtained several certifications in various fields. Don obtained a Sales: Portfolio Competency certification from Dell EMC in September 2016, a HPE Sales Certified – IT Business Conversations certification from Hewlett Packard Enterprise in December 2016, and a Sales - Converged Infrastructure VSPEX BLUE certification from EMC in October 2015. In 2013, they obtained two certifications from EMC - EMC Velocity Sales Accreditation Maintenance: Consolidate and Backup & Recovery in October, and EMC Velocity Sales Accreditation: Scale-Out NAS in April. Don Scobell also holds three certifications from Hewlett Packard Enterprise - HP Advanced Sales Certified - Enterprise Server Solutions and Services [2014], HP Advanced Sales Certified - Enterprise Storage Solutions and Services [2014], and HPE Sales Certified - Enterprise Solutions [2016], although the specific months and years of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
