Steve W. has extensive experience in property management and maintenance, currently serving as a Stock Condition Surveyor at Melin Homes since April 2017, where responsibilities include conducting stock condition and EPC surveys across South Wales. Previously, as a Void and Reactive Team Leader, Steve maintained over 4,000 properties, ensuring upgrades met WHQS and HHSRS standards, and also managed void, reactive, and major work projects as a Maintenance Manager. Steve’s career includes a role as Contracts Manager at Glanmor Developments Limited, overseeing planned works and maintenance for a local housing association, and earlier positions at Melin Homes as a Void Property Surveyor and at A P Waters Building Contractors Limited as Site Manager, where project organization and health and safety compliance were key. Steve holds a degree in Carpentry/Joinery from Nash Technical College in Newport, completed in 1986.
