Dúnia Neves Ruas Mourão

Dúnia Neves Ruas Mourão has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Dúnia started their career as an intern at ESAB South America in 2008, where they later became an Analyst and managed a team of two interns. In 2013, they became a Partner at Ruas Mourão Advocacia Empresarial, handling various legal areas such as labor, civil, environmental, construction, consumer, and corporate law. Dúnia worked with clients such as MRV, Magazine Luiza, Dayco Indústria de Autopeças, and a pet shop network. In 2015, they joined ESAB South America again as a Legal Coordinator, providing legal advice to different departments and managing external law firms. Dúnia left the company in 2020 to become the Head of Legal at Méliuz, responsible for creating and managing the internal legal department, supporting the Investor Relations team, coordinating legal strategies, and supervising external law firms. Furthermore, in 2022, they started working as a Professor in the MBA course on High-Performance Advocacy at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais.

Dúnia Neves Ruas Mourão has a diverse education history. In 2005 to 2009, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law from Universidade FUMEC - Oficial. Dúnia further pursued their education in post-graduate studies, specializing in various fields.

From 2015 to 2017, Dúnia completed a post-graduate program in Labour and Social Security Law at PUC Minas. In 2018 to 2020, they pursued another post-graduate specialization, this time in Compliance and Corporate Integrity, also at PUC Minas. In 2020, they enrolled at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas to study Corporate Law, with a focus on Societies and Anonymous Companies.

Dúnia's ongoing education includes a specialization in Banking Law and Financial Markets through a post-graduate program at PUC Minas, which began in 2022 and is expected to conclude in 2023. Additionally, in 2022, they completed a course on Internal Corporate Investigations at LEC - Legal, Ethics & Compliance. Dúnia also acquired certifications in Banking 4.0 from Future Law in April 2022 and Language Study from ILSC Education Group in May 2019.
