Alexander Whittaker is a Senior Program Assistant at the Mellon Foundation, focusing on grantmaking for the Humanities in Place program since July 2021. Previously, Alexander served as a Program Assistant within the same program, engaging in all phases of the grant proposal process aimed at preserving history and culture in under-resourced communities.
