David Vega-Pulido

David Vega-Pulido is an experienced education and public policy professional currently serving as a Program Assistant at the United States Institute of Peace since September 2022. Previously, David held the position of Research Assistant and worked as a 3rd Grade Partner Teacher at District of Columbia Public Schools from September 2021 to June 2022, where the focus was on enhancing students' understanding and critical thinking. Experiences also include serving as a Teaching Assistant at Rhodes College and as a Writing Instructor for Breakthrough Collaborative. David holds a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Rhodes College, complemented by a GED from All Saints' Episcopal School.
