Jarkko Lainio has extensive work experience, starting in 1989 at Ifolor Oy as an IT Manager and Database Marketing Manager. Jarkko then moved to MicroMedia Oy, where they served as the IT Manager and Business Development Director from 1996 to 2004.
After that, Jarkko joined Microsoft Finland in 2004, taking on the role of SMB Marketing Manager until 2008. Jarkko then transitioned to Microsoft, where they initially served as the SMB Segment Lead, responsible for sales ownership of the SMB business segment and leading a team of 10 individuals managing the Microsoft Partner Channel.
In 2017, Jarkko was promoted to Partner Development Lead at Microsoft, focusing on partner development until 2020. In this role, they played a crucial part in moving Microsoft's fastest-growing segment into the cloud.
Finally, in 2020, Jarkko joined Meltlake as the Business Director.
Jarkko Lainio attended Riihimäki Business School from 1987 to 1989, where they obtained a Yo-merkonomi degree in IT & Business studies at the upper secondary level. Additionally, they obtained the Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in 2019.
