Brian Getting

Brian Getting has extensive experience in digital product development and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as TL;DR at Membean since November 2014, Brian is involved in a global vocabulary learning application. As the Founder and Owner of The Tatemae Consultancy, established in May 2012, Brian focuses on digital product development and startup strategy. Brian previously held the role of Executive Director at the Oregon Boating Foundation from August 2017 to November 2021, promoting safe water activities. As the Founder of Chimpified, which integrated with Mailchimp and was sold in 2014, and as the Founder and Owner of Terra Firma Design and Consulting, Brian provided comprehensive design and development services. Additionally, Brian served as Chief Technical Officer at Practical eCommerce from October 2005 to February 2009, overseeing various online initiatives while contributing content. Brian earned a Bachelor of Science in Botany from the University of Iowa between 1995 and 2000.
