Robert Costa

Robert Costa has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Robert is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Givebacks since September 2018. Prior to this, they worked as a Fellow at the Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network North Carolina from September 2017 to May 2018, where they assisted portfolio companies with financial modeling, business model creation, and strategy development. Robert also served as a Summer Consultant at L.E.K. Consulting in June 2017 and August 2017.

From July 2013 to June 2016, Costa worked as a Consultant at Stax Inc., a global strategy consulting firm, where they played a crucial role in understanding client issues and conducting in-depth analyses. Robert also managed a small team of associates and worked closely with managers and directors to convert findings into actionable recommendations. Robert previously held the position of Associate at Stax from April 2011 to July 2013, providing analytic support and collaborating with team members to develop insights and recommendations.

Costa also served as a Strategic Advisor at Edco from July 2015 to April 2016. Prior to this, they worked as a Treasury Analyst at Dassault Systemes from June 2010 to April 2011. In this role, they were responsible for daily bank account maintenance, calculating cash positions, assisting with wire transfers and payment processes, tracking and analyzing investment portfolios, and reconciling cash balances.

Throughout their career, Costa has demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, strategy development, and project management.

Robert Costa obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Corporate Finance & Strategy from Duke University's The Fuqua School of Business from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics.
