Deb Nelson

Deb Nelson is the current Vice President at Memorial Community Health. Deb has over 25 years of experience in marketing and business growth strategies.

Nelson started their career in 1985 as the Director of Worksite Health Promotion at Memorial Hospital of RI. In 1991, they became the Associate Vice President of Marketing at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island. In 1997, they became the Executive Vice President of Marketing at The Abacus Group.

In 2003, they joined John Hancock Financial Network - Independence Financial Partners as the Director of Marketing. Deb was responsible for creating and implementing firm and advisor business growth strategies. Deb left John Hancock in 2015 to join Memorial Community Health as the Vice President.

Deb Nelson has a Bachelor of Liberal Studies from Hillsdale College and a Master of Science from the University of Michigan.
