Millicent Kriste, RN, CLC, is an accomplished healthcare professional and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Owner and Innkeeper of Glenmoor By The Sea Resort & Cottages since April 2017. Alongside hospitality, Millicent has been a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital of RI since 2015 and operates as an Independent Consultant with Pure Haven Essentials, achieving Triple Star Leader status. Millicent's nursing career includes significant training through the RI Nurse Residency Program and roles that emphasize family support and event coordination within the community. Millicent holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and an Associate of Science in Nursing from the Community College of Rhode Island, alongside a degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management from Johnson & Wales University.

On December 28, 2017, the Rhode Island Department of Health announced the approval of Care New England’s reverse certificate of need application to move forward with the functional closure of Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department. As of January 1, 2018, Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department will be closed. Care New England remains committed to ensuring access to community-based, outpatient care that meets the future health care needs in the Blackstone Valley.
