Chris Hunter

Chris Hunter is an experienced software engineering professional with a strong background in digital solutions architecture and project management. Currently serving as Principal and Director of Software Engineering at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center since May 2020, Chris has progressed through various roles, including Platform Architect and Solutions Architect. Previous experience includes a role as Digital Solutions Architect at Marriott International, where Chris architected a new web platform for Marriott.com, and as Digital Solutions Architect and Director of API Platform at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, overseeing the development and maintenance of APIs and leading a significant merger strategy with Marriott. Chris's extensive career also includes positions at Morgan Stanley, AIG, and other organizations, with a focus on software development and enterprise application integration. Educational qualifications include a BA from Allegheny College, advanced degrees and certifications in computer science and internet technologies from established institutions such as Pace University and Columbia University.
