Daniel Stein

Daniel Stein possesses extensive expertise in medical informatics and healthcare policy, having held several prominent positions at leading institutions. At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from May 2017 to June 2023, Daniel served as Chief Medical Informatics Officer, Associate Chief Information Officer, and Associate Chief Health Informatics Officer, focusing on innovation in healthcare data management. Prior roles include Assistant Professor of Healthcare Policy and Research and Associate Medical Director of Informatics at Weill Cornell Medical College, in addition to part-time and full-time positions at Cornell Tech. Notably, Daniel's academic foundation is supported by a BA in Human Biology from Brown University and a PhD in Biomedical Informatics from Columbia University.
