James Isbell, MD, MSCI, currently serves as an Associate Attending and Director of Quality and Outcomes at the Thoracic Surgery Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center since March 2016. Prior to this role, James Isbell was an Assistant Professor at the University of Virginia from July 2013 to February 2016 and completed a Surgical Residency at Vanderbilt University from July 2003 to June 2010. James Isbell obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from UT Southwestern Medical Center between 1999 and 2003, and also earned a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine from 2006 to 2008.
